How to Calculate Yearly Salary
Yearly salary is your total pay over 12 months. You might need it for loans, comparing jobs, or budgeting. This article covers how to calculate yearly salary from hourly pay and points you to our calculators.
How the Calculation Works
From hourly: Yearly = hourly × hours per week × weeks per year. Full-time: hourly × 2,080. From salary: Usually in your contract; if biweekly, multiply one paycheck by 26. Including overtime: Calculate base with the hourly formula, then add overtime using our overtime pay calculator.
