How it works
Our Timezone Converter helps you quickly find the equivalent time in another timezone. This is especially useful for scheduling international meetings, coordinating with remote teams, or planning calls across continents.
Supported timezones
The converter covers major business timezones: US Eastern (EST/EDT), US Central (CST/CDT), US Mountain (MST/MDT), US Pacific (PST/PDT), GMT/UTC, Central European (CET), Eastern European (EET), India (IST), Pakistan (PKT), Japan (JST), Australia Eastern (AEST), China (CST), Gulf (GST), and Singapore (SGT).
How timezone conversion works
Each timezone has a fixed offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). To convert, the calculator finds the difference between the two timezone offsets and applies it to your input time. For example, EST is UTC-5 and PKT is UTC+5, so the difference is 10 hours — 9:00 AM EST is 7:00 PM PKT.
Business hours overlap
The conversion table shows every hour of the day in both timezones, making it easy to find overlapping business hours for scheduling. This is the most practical feature for remote workers and international teams.
Daylight Saving Time note
This tool uses standard (non-DST) UTC offsets. During daylight saving time periods (typically March-November for US/Europe), actual times may shift by one hour. Always verify critical meeting times around DST transitions.
EST (US Eastern) is UTC-5 and PKT (Pakistan) is UTC+5, so PKT is 10 hours ahead of EST. 9 AM EST = 7 PM PKT.
This tool uses standard UTC offsets. During DST, clocks move forward by 1 hour in many US/European regions. Adjust manually during March-November if needed.
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the primary time standard. All timezones are defined as offsets from UTC. For example, EST = UTC-5, IST = UTC+5:30.
The overlap window is roughly 8-10 AM EST (6-8 PM PKT). This is the most common window for US-Pakistan business calls.
